1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use cropdot at cropdot.com. By using it you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use cropdot. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

2. The service

cropdot helps you write and design LinkedIn carousels and posts with AI, edit them and export them as PDF or images. It is in early access: features change, some may be unavailable, and things can break. We may change or stop any part of it.

3. Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use cropdot.

4. Price

cropdot does not charge for anything yet. Coins in the app limit how often you can generate; they have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money. If we introduce paid plans, their prices and terms will be shown to you before you pay.

5. Your content

What you put into cropdot and what you create with it is yours. You allow us to process it only as far as needed to run cropdot, including sending it to the AI providers named in the privacy policy. Do not put in anything you do not have the right to use.

6. AI-written drafts

Drafts are written by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or close to text that already exists elsewhere. Read and edit them before you post. You are responsible for what you publish and for following LinkedIn's rules.

7. Where your work is saved

Carousels and posts are saved in your browser on your device. Clearing your browser's data, using another browser or another device means they are not there, and we cannot restore them. Export anything you want to keep.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use cropdot to:

  • create content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, harasses, deceives or spreads hate;
  • send spam or malware;
  • overload, attack or get around the limits of the service, or access it by automated means;
  • copy or resell cropdot itself.

9. Our part

The cropdot name, logo, app and templates belong to us. You may use the templates in carousels you make with cropdot.

cropdot is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn, Google, Anthropic or OpenAI. Their names are trademarks of their owners.

10. Suspension

You can stop using cropdot at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

11. No warranty

cropdot is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We do not promise that it will always be available, error free or right for your purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost content, including carousels lost from your browser. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters, we will say so on the site before it applies. Using cropdot after that means you accept the new terms.
